Stream Boss

Chat fights a boss. Every message is a swing, paid support hits harder, and whoever lands the killing blow takes the throne with their own avatar.

Set it up

In Streamer.bot, turn on Servers → WebSocket Server.
On the customizer, copy the import string and use Actions → Import. The action is named ZeMaxi - Stream Boss. If you already imported it for v1, keep it; nothing changed.
Create matching Twitch channel point rewards, or Kick rewards, named Be the Boss, Power Up (or First), Heal the Boss, Shield, and Last Hit. YouTube chat uses the commands instead.
Pick a theme, generate the overlay URL, and add it as a Browser Source at 1920×400 with a transparent background. Any size works; the overlay scales to fit.
Optional: add the dock URL as a Custom Browser Dock to steer the fight from OBS.

How a fight works

Each chat message chips the boss (once per chatter per cooldown). In attack-only mode, chat types !attack instead.
Subs, gifts, Bits, Super Chats, Kicks, Jewels, raids, and tips hit harder and skip the cooldown. A gift bomb counts every gift once.
Some hits are critical and do double damage.
At half health the boss is Enraged, and at a quarter it makes a Last Stand.
The killing blow knocks the boss out and crowns the attacker. Each K.O. makes the next boss tougher if HP growth is on. You can crown the top damage dealer instead.
If the boss subs, cheers, or tips, it heals them instead (you can turn this off). The boss cannot hit themself.

Redemptions and commands

Reward / command	What it does
Be the Boss · `!beboss`	Takes the throne straight away, at the current boss’s max HP.
Power Up / First · `!powerup` `!first`	That viewer’s hits do ×2.5 damage for 45 seconds (both adjustable).
Heal the Boss · `!bossheal`	Heals 15% of max HP (adjustable).
Shield · `!bossshield`	Blocks all damage for 8 seconds (adjustable). Shields stack.
Last Hit · `!lasthit`	Doubles that viewer’s damage for 30 seconds. If they swung in the last 10 seconds when the boss falls, they steal the kill.
`!attack`	Anyone. Always a hit, and the only way to hit in attack-only mode.
`!boss`	Anyone. Replies with the boss, their HP, and their reign (needs “Post to chat”).
`!bossreset`	Mods. Back to the Training Dummy at the starting HP. The hall of fame stays.

By default the redemption commands work for YouTube chat and mods, with a per-viewer cooldown, so nobody on Twitch or Kick gets a free reward. You can open them to everyone or close them to mods.

Streamer.bot extras

Post to chat: announces each new boss and answers !boss. Streamer.bot only sends chat over a connection with a password, so turn on authentication in its WebSocket Server and put the password in the customizer.
Run an action on a new boss: name any Streamer.bot action and it runs on every K.O. and Be the Boss. It gets reason, bossName, bossUser, bossPlatform, bossAvatar, bossHp, round, oldBossName, oldBossUser, oldBossPlatform, reignSeconds, byName, and byPlatform. Use it to play a sound, switch scenes, or hand out points.
Tips from Ko-fi, StreamElements, Streamlabs, Fourthwall, and TipeeeStream count once those integrations are connected in Streamer.bot.

The dock

The dock shows the live boss, top damage, the hall of fame (K.O.s, crowns, longest reign), and a timed log. It can hit or heal by a share of max HP, raise a shield, pause damage, set HP or max HP, finish the boss (the last hitter takes the crown), crown anyone by username, and reset. If no overlay is open, the dock runs the fight itself.

Where the fight is saved

The fight lives in the Streamer.bot persisted global zmx.stream-boss.state, so it survives OBS restarts. There is no database.
